EARLY 2005 DARBEYS TAXIS - Thought I'd use a luxury minibus I'd bought to do airport transfers part time, It was at a time when taxis had deregulated so opted to have it as a Taxi instead of a Private Hire.

My phone kept ringing interrupting my regular business, so I handed the plates back after Steve Hughes (Our 1st driver) Moved back over to Liverpool at the end of the summer season.

SUMMER 2008 - Andrew Lloyd (Brum) was manager in one of our fish and chip shops, He told me he wanted to drive Taxis, and was giving me notice. (he offered to stay the summer season before he left)

A week into working for a local company he asked for his chippy job back due to poor earnings, I was horrified at the amount the company was taking off him so decided to buy a couple of cheap cars.

LATE 2008 DARBEYS TAXIS - With a Zafira and a Vectra, Darbeys Taxis was resurrected.

2009 - We re-named the company Busy Bee
